WHAT IS A LIGHT CABINET ?

A Light Cabinet is an electronic device in which color evaluations and comparisons are made under the artificial standard light sources closest to nature, which are alternatives to the light sources that the sample being produced may encounter in the environment.

WHAT IS THE USE OF THE LIGHT CABINET ?

The light cabinet is useful for observing the color of the sample under many types of lighting, such as D50, D65, U30, U35, A, UV, TL84 and so on, which the sample will encounter according to its type, comparing the color processed on the sample, and so on, the experiment and test that you want to do under optional light is performed in the cabinet with standard light sources.

AREAS OF USE AND PURPOSES OF THE LIGHT CABINET? 

The light cabinet is used in various sectors today. He works in various sectors, especially textile, industrial, printing and packaging. The purpose of use in the sectors where the light cabinet is used is to ensure that observations can be made under the desired light in the cabinet on the sample of the product to be put into production.

WHAT ARE THE TYPES OF LIGHT CABINETS ?

Depending on the sector in which the light cabinet will be used or the size of the sample to be observed, the type of lighting inside the light cabinet and the size of the light cabinet may vary. our light cabinets are available in different sizes, 60cm, 120cm, 150cm in general. However, it is available in desktop and suspended type standard models. Lighting options are available according to the sector in which it is used. The most common of these are; 

D65 lighting is lighting at a color temperature of about 6500 Kelvin, known as situations where daylight is directly encountered. It is mainly used in the textile and industrial sector.

D50 lighting is lighting at a color temperature of about 5000 Kelvin, known as illumination, which is found in the room during the day when daylight is not direct. It is mainly used in the printing and packaging sectors.

LIGHT CABINET EFFICIENCY

The efficiency of the illuminations used in the light cabinet may be observed to decrease in their performance due to the operating temperature of the lighting used.
